Happy almost April, friends, and welcome to another bullet journal aesthetic post! I’ve decided on an ATLA (Avatar the Last Airbender) theme for this month, and I’ve really enjoyed putting it together. There’s some really cool ideas and themes to explore with this theme too! Enjoy!

Four nations, each with their own languages, cultures, and abilities. For nearly a century, they’ve been in the throes of war, with one striving for superiority over the others. Traveling the world, building skills in each of the four elements, one young person is tasked with ending the war and restoring balance and peace. As his friend, you wonder sometimes how he will accomplish this, but you have faith that he can. Flying through days and nights, dangerous storms and beautiful sunsets, your animal friend carries your little gang of friends across the world, making all of your adventures possible.

My ATLA bullet journal setup
For this bullet journal setup, I wanted to work on actually drawing the decorations rather than relying on stickers and washi tape. I started with snapshots of Appa flying through various aesthetic skyscapes, which coordinates well with my other bullet journal themes from this year so far. For the rest of the theme, I wanted lots of focus on the four elements/four nations, as that’s the topic I’ll be studying and reflecting on a lot this month.
Conclusion: Avatar the Last Airbender bullet journal theme
I hope you’ve enjoyed this bullet journal theme/aesthetic inspiration post. Do you bullet journal? What’s your theme for April 2023?
Happy journaling!
