Hello, friends, and welcome to another year of Christmas fun and Advent reflections. This year, I found a super pretty Advent study book form Well-Watered women, Co. that will be perfect to end this year with genuine study and reflection. I’m also making my own Advent calendar-inspired journaling sticker kit to go with it which is turning out super cute! Enjoy!
The study: Well-Watered Women’s “Light and Life to All He Brings”
I’ve admired the Well-Watered Women company for a long time now. Their products are super beautiful, and they’re intentionally designed to facilitate a genuine and growing relationship with the Lord. Perhaps the best-known item that they sell is the Give Me Jesus quiet time journal, which I haven’t yet coughed up the money for but would someday like to purchase.
I found this study book a month or so ago and decided to go ahead and buy it with a special deal that they had going on at the time. Since I studied the book of John this summer, I thought that studying 1-3 John would be a good way to end the year. I also appreciate the fact that this study book will take me all the way through the month of December, with built-in catch up days on weekends.
Here are a few photos of the study book — look how pretty it is!
You can purchase the study book here – it’s currently (as of 23 November ’22) on sale!
The pretties – Illustrated Faith, Print Pray Slay, and Faith Heirlooms printables
Of course I couldn’t do a study without some kind of creative element, and this year I was super inspired by the 25 envelopes of Illustrated Faith’s 2022 Advent kit. Since I already purchased my study book at the point the IF kit came out, I didn’t want to buy another one– but the idea of opening all the little envelopes was super cool to me! So what did I do? I made my own!
I took a little cardboard box that had a set of washi tape in it originally and decided to fill it with 30 of my own little envelopes. With my Creative Fabrica subscription, I found three sets of digital paper that coordinate perfectly of the aesthetic of the WWW study book. They look so cute all lined up together!! I filled each little envelope with stickers that I printed from Illustrated Faith, Print Pray Slay, and Faith Heirlooms, as well as a set of aesthetic photos that I found on Etsy.
Here are all the printable sets and supplies that I’ve used so far:

Here’s a little peek at what my little Advent card set looks like so far:
I might end up covering the original purple color of the box with something more Christmasy, but this is what we’re working with for now 😹
I hope you’ve enjoyed and were inspired by this post about my Advent plans for 2022 and the Black Friday/Cyber week deals I’ve been taking advantage of. Do you celebrate Advent/Christmas? What are you planning to do?
Happy journaling!
