Happy April, friends, and welcome to the fourth installment in the Year of Owl City bullet journal inspiration series! This month is my birthday month, and I always like to create a bullet journal theme that features one of my favorite things. When it comes to Owl City, Maybe I’m Dreaming is one of my all-time favorite albums. I love the overall aesthetic feel of the artwork, and of course the music is *chef’s kiss* some of the best of Adam’s original soft electronic vibe. Hope you enjoy!

Floating through a dreamy cloudscape at sunset, watching the sky change slowly from blue, to gold, to pink, and finally to the soft purple of dusk. hearing the melodic chirping of dozens of birds as they sing the day to sleep. Watching them take off in great clouds and swirl through the sky, dancing to choreography only they can understand. Taking a deep breath and letting go of the heavy feelings and experiences you carry, choosing to rest in the peace offered to you instead.

I was super proud of the way this turned out, as I usually am in April 😸 I found the font that the album artwork uses and copied it by hand for all of my headings and quotes. I used my Himi gouache paints to make all the backgrounds, and basically just did a gradient from one color to the next on each spread. I traced and remixed a set of animal-shaped clouds that I found, and used those to go with the sky aesthetic. And THEN I ended up combining the two aesthetics of the two different Maybe I’m Dreaming album covers and made a set of pastel rainbow star stickers. Printed on clear sticker paper, I LOVE how these stickers turned out pulling all the different elements of the setup together!

The theme for this month was super inspiring to me, so I ended up creating five pages of printables! This one includes a custom Happy Planner cover, two sizes of washi tape, and some cloud and star stickers to print and use in your own creative projects. Hope you enjoy!
