Watching the first flakes of snow float down, impossibly white against a grey winter sky. Trying and succeeding in catching one on your tongue, feeling it melt and imagining its sweetness. Looking for opportunities to spread warmth and joy in the things you do and the details you look for in daily life. Searching for the perfect gift for your special someone, and feeling overwhelmed by the sheer number of things to choose from. Laughing at the previous gifts that turned out to be complete flops, and enjoying the closeness that seems only to come around this time of year.
