Princess T-Shirt Diaries #1: Aurora

Hi guys, and welcome to another new series of posts! I bought a T-shirt a few months ago with nine different Disney princesses on it. The shirt says “God says I am…” at the top, and each princess has an affirmation/encouraging word along with a verse that’s supposed to go with it. So of course, I’m running wild with this idea and expanding on each and every one of these princesses, plus adding three more of my own. This series will be mainly taking place on my podcast, which is available on Spotify. Hope you enjoy!

Aurora – shrewd and innocent

For some reason, Aurora made me think of the verse from Matthew that talks about being “shrewd as serpents and innocent as doves.” Maybe it’s the fact that she grew up humble and sheltered, unaware of her true identity as a princess? I dunno, but that’s the idea that we went with. You can listen to this month’s episode here:

This series of posts is a part of my ongoing Panem et Princesses theme for 2025, which was inspired by the NEW HUNGER GAMES BOOK COMING OUT IN MARCH 2025!!! I wrote/am writing a series of single-scene short stories featuring Disney princesses in the setting of Panem from the Hunger Games series. You can read Aurora’s story hook here, and sign up for my email list to get access to the full story : )

I’m also creating a series of bullet journal themes based on these stories, which is so much fun! You can see how Aurora’s District One theme turned out here : ).

I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s Disney princess devotional thoughts post. Tune in next month for Jasmine! I pray you are safe, well, and growing in your relationship with Christ.

Have a great day!

Let’s be friends!
