Bible journal with me – Ambassador for Christ

Happy Friday, my friends, and welcome to another Bible journal with me session. Today, I’m setting up a memorial stone of what I learned from this month’s Wings study in my new journaling Bible. I have a lot to reflect on, so this may take more than one page. Enjoy!

This week’s study topic was on being an Ambassador for Christ, and I really enjoyed finding fictional characters that embody what I think of as an ambassador who seeks reconciliation and peace. There are some pretty cool parallels between Anna from Frozen and Moana (from Moana) seeing the heart behind the pain and anger of Elsa and Te Fiti, respectively. I found this out while making this fun little video:

The Bible journaling process

For today’s Bible journaling page, I followed the theme that has developed in the past couple of weeks in the Wings study: wash of watercolor in royal blue and purple colors, some hand lettering to bring out the key words that I studied this week, and a little flock of butterflies to fill in the space and tie this entry in with the others in this series. I also added a little piece of this washi tape from Amazon to the side of the page so that I’ll be able to find all of my “ambassador” verses easily in the future. I anticipate that I’ll be adding more verses and entries as the year goes on; this has been such a good study!!
