Happy Friday, mes amis, and welcome to another Bible journaling post! This week I’m summarizing, internalizing, and responding to the things I’ve learned from week 2 of the Wings devotional. I studied what it means to seek the Lord and how I can meditate or re-digest His Word every day. Enjoy!
I’ve really enjoyed looking at all the different facets of our identity in Christ this month. This week the focus was on being a Seeker or student of the Lord and His Word. I studied the idea of being hungry and thirsty for righteousness, of seeking the Lord with every part of me, and finding a river whose depths can never be fully explored.
Here are the other two posts from this week’s devotional:
- Wings: Seeker (Elsa, Hermione, Belle, Moana)
- Word Nerd Wednesday – Hunger and thirst for righteousness

The journaling process
I wanted all the journaling entries for this month to match, so I decided to use a similar technique this week to the one I used last week. Starting with a wash of color for the background, I went with a refreshing green and blue palette (like Ravenclaw? I don’t know why, but the color blue has always seemed scholarly to me). I wrote out the verse in a different translation with a brush pen, then surrounded it with a flock of blue and green butterflies and a journaled response/prayer. This week I also added a border on the top and bottom of the page with my Seeker faux washi strips and some super cute butterfly washi from Amazon.
I’m really enjoying this new journaling Bible from Hosanna Revival! It’s currently on sale for about $26 instead of $50 and it’s super beautiful! You can get it on Amazon here.
I hope you’ve enjoyed this week’s Bible journaling post. Do you enjoy Bible journaling? How do you respond to the things you learn from the Word?
Happy journaling!
