It’s day 3 of Blogmas, and time to decorate my dorm room for the holidays! I don’t usually get this excited about decorating, but there’s just something about the way my dorm is set up that makes it feel more like a house. So without further ado, let’s get started!
Decorations that will last longer than Christmas
Since I’ll be away from my dorm the majority of the holiday season, I decided to choose decorations that will last the whole winter.
I bought a pom pom garland from Hobby Lobby in pink and green and purple, which I hung on my door with Command hooks.
I also found some snowflake window clings, and they’ll go not only on my window but also on the door of my room.
Christmas lights are a staple year round, of course 😉
And last but not least, I’ve got snow on the inside of my window!! aka I found canned fake snow and it’s amaziiiing 🙂
The rest of my decorations pretty much amount to trying super hard to keep my space clean, and spraying holiday-themed Febreeze often to keep it feeling homey and welcoming.
