Finding Nemo bullet journal theme aesthetic – June 2023

Happy ne month, friends, and welcome to another bullet journal theme aesthetic inspiration post! I was really inspired by watching Finding Nemo a few months ago, and wanted to create a theme inspired by its scenery. I also really enjoyed using some gorgeous washi tape from The Washi Tape Shop in this Finding Nemo bullet journal theme. Enjoy!

Headcanon

Miles upon miles of endless blue ocean water. Cityscapes of coral and reef teeming with fish and other sea creatures of every variety. A family of worried parent and optimistic child who wants to experience the world for himself. One moment of rebellion will split them apart, sending the father on a life-changing journey to find and rescue his son, encountering people and places he never imagined facing along the way.

My Finding Nemo bullet journal setup

For this theme, like I mentioned above, I mostly wanted to highlight this *stunning* washi tape from The Washi Tape Shop. Not sponsored or affiliate, I just adored the dreamy illustrations. I also LOVE how the sealife are mixed with night-sky imagery. These tapes feel like a song that Adam Young would write, which means that I HAD to have them and I love using them!

Here’s a look at my Finding Nemo bullet journal theme for June 2023. I made a background with some blue acrylic paint for the cover page, typed out a verse of the month in a Finding Nemo-inspired font, and used the same basic formatting for the rest of the setup. This journal is getting pretty full at this point, so I decided not to use the cut-away style I’ve been using the past several months. I loved how the washi tape interacted with the watercolor fishy stickers that I printed from some Creative Fabrica graphics! I also enjoyed using up some Pipsticks stickers to add some detail and dimension to the pages.
