Gratitude Documented Day 9 – Everlark and Peeta’s lovingkindness

Greetings, friends, and welcome to another post! Today’s Gratitude Documented prompt is Lovingkindness, which of course makes me think of the lovely, bestest, precious human that is Peeta Mellark – and how his actions and characteristics are a reflection of God’s unfailing love for us. Enjoy!

Everlark forever 💖🔥🪶

Everlark (Katniss Everdeen + Peeta Mellark) is one of my all-time FAVORITE fictional love stories of ALL time, and this quote (see picture) is a big part of the reason. Peeta’s kindness to Katniss long before they knew each other LITERALLY gave her the will to keep fighting for survival, and they’re continually supportive of each other as allies and friends before they become my OTP. And Peeta’s small acts of kindness and shows of affection without any pressure to respond before she’s ready I think are what brings Katniss to the conclusion that he’s the one for her. I just love them so much 🔥😻🏹🤩🪶💚🥹🧡🥰

Gratitude Documented Study

This verse was the starting point for Gratitude Documented today, but I found several more on the themes of lovingkindness and faithful love that I’d like to share:

Today I was reminded that the Lord’s lovingkindness towards me will never fail, and He will never leave or forsake me. Praise God!
