Port Blue bullet journal – January 2024

Happy new year, amigos, and welcome to the first in a series of bullet journal aesthetic inspiration posts for 2024. I’m still over the moon about the new Owl City album that released in 2023, so I’m doing bullet journal themes based on many of his different albums and projects this year. Hope you enjoy!

Headcanon

Sailing gently over the bay, still waters beneath you and albatrosses soaring above. Sitting on the end of a pier at night, feeling suspended in space with stars reflected in the water around. Soaking in the warmth of a blanket and the purr of a favorite cat as you absorb yourself in a book, oblivious to the cold and wet outside your cozy home.

My journal setup

This year, I’m going with a much simpler bullet journal setup as I ended up burnt out at the end of last year. I have a cover page paying tribute to the chosen song/album/project, a calendar and notes page, weekly reflection pages, a monthly spending tracker, and a monthly reflection page. This will let me process the things that happen in my life without too much overwhelming I-have-to-fill-this-out feeling.

Here’s a look at how I set up my journal:

Free printable!!

I’m going to give the whole free printable bullet journal setup thing another go this year, starting with this month. Here’s a free one page printable that you can use to jumpstart your own bullet journal or planner setup, or just for a little creative time. Hope you enjoy!

I hope you’ve enjoyed this month’s Port Blue bullet journal setup for January 2024. Do you bullet journal? What’s your theme for this month?

Happy journaling!
