Hi guys, and welcome to another new series of posts! I bought a T-shirt a few months ago with nine different Disney princesses on it. The shirt says “God says I am…” at the top, and each princess has an affirmation/encouraging word along with a verse that’s supposed to go with it. So of course, I’m running wild with this idea and expanding on each and every one of these princesses, plus adding three more of my own. This series will be mainly taking place on my podcast, which is available on Spotify. Hope you enjoy!
Elsa – enough
Elsa is another of my favorite Disney princesses. I love her story of going from self-condemnation to accepting love from her sister and the memory of her family. I also LOVE how Frozen 2 takes Elsa into the mystery of Alta Hallen and she meets her mother and that whole scene is SO LOVELY, I wrote a blog post about it that you can read if you’d like : )
That being said, the idea of being “enough” is one that’s rather close to my heart, and I kinda love talking about it. I picked a different verse than the T-shirt suggested, 1 John 3:19-20. You can listen to the podcast episode here:
This series of posts is a part of my ongoing Panem et Princesses theme for 2025, which was inspired by the NEW HUNGER GAMES BOOK COMING OUT IN MARCH 2025!!! I wrote/am writing a series of single-scene short stories featuring Disney princesses in the setting of Panem from the Hunger Games series. You can read Elsa’s story hook here, and sign up for my email list to get access to the full story : )
I’m also creating a series of bullet journal themes based on these stories, which is so much fun! You can see how Elsa’s District Five theme turned out here : ).
I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s Disney princess devotional thoughts post. Tune in next month for Ariel! I pray you are safe, well, and growing in your relationship with Christ.
Have a great day!
